The Women's Super League and Championship competitions are the top levels of women's competitive football in the UK. The FA required some OOH artwork, print ads and social media posts. The design for the Championships 19/20 launch also had to fit in with artwork created for the Super League.

The Championship logo had been developed at the same time by the company who developed the Women's Super League (WSL) logo. Because it is a lower tier in the football competition, however, it hadn't been developed much further than this – a logo, some colours and a typeface. The FA were looking for something that could sit within this current branding and mesh with the artwork created for the WSL.
I prepared three options for the client and presented them, with the client choosing my "wild card" design. The artwork was then finalised and expanded to cover all the teams in the competition. I created digital billboards, programme ads, Instagram feeds and stories, among others, taking the design from concept to final artwork.
